The snows of March

March has been cold and snowy here in Park City. Earlier this week we got about a foot of new powder so Julie and I headed out to Deer Valley. As you can see, she is standing knee deep in powder. The little people you see in the background were digging for a ski that came on in a fall and got buried in the powder. They found the ski about 15-20 minutes later. Posted by Picasa

Jasper was in his crate waiting for the traditional peanut butter treat he gets when we lock him up. Cosette, sensing that something exciting must be in the works, climbed in with him. Posted by Picasa

Ski Group 2006

I haven't updated the blog in a bit because our ski group has been in town. I decided to put up two quick pictures, with more to come later.
This is our entire ski group. Given that people arrived and left on different days, skied at differenet hours and in different places, this is amazing. Credit goes to Carol who demanded that we all show up in one place for the photo session. So, on the decks of Royal Street at Deer Valley, we have Katie, Bruce, Hannah, Hilary, Tom, Anne, Carol, Julie, Sherrie, Bill, Cameron, John, Steve (me), and Mark. Posted by Picasa
One of our skiers, Bill Hogan, was being generous sharing his beer with our cat. Turns out she is quite a lush. We are now looking for KAA, kitty alcoholics anonymous. Posted by Picasa
