A smog suck'n good time

I count my blessings every time we have an inversion. When the high pressure system comes to Utah, the air gets quite stagnant. The valleys fill with pollution and there just isn't anything to clear it out.

Here is a look at what it is like to live in Salt Lake City. It is a "code red", which basically advises you to stay inside and not breath.

Here is what it looks like from our porch in Park City this morning. What a difference a range of mountains can make.

I think I'll avoid any Salt Lake City trips until the next big storm comes through and scours the valley air.
