Glad they practiced

Back in early November, I got to take some photos of the firefighters at the Tesoro Oil and Gas Refinery doing their night time fire fighting practice. It was very cool and I walked away impressed with how quickly they could control a huge blaze.

Guess they practice for a reason. Yesterday they had a fire at the refinery. They put it out very quickly and the damage was very limited. It still has to make you nervous when a refinery catches fire and it is only a mile or so from the middle of downtown Salt Lake City.
