I got an annual membership to Amazon Prime a few years ago and I have been sticking with it. For around $75 per year, you get free two-day shipping on all your orders, no matter how small. You can also extend the membership to cover several family members for no additional cost.
Amazon has been adding new features to the Prime membership and leaving the price exactly where it is. Surprising in these days! About a year ago they started a video streaming service ala Netflix. It's free for Prime members and it works with my
Roku box.
Today they added a new feature for Prime members who own a Kindle or their new Fire. You get to borrow one book a month for free. And it's not just crappy old things no one wants to read. The list includes a lot of the NY Times Bestseller list. More information can be found
