I use Adobe Lightroom for all my photo editing and cataloging, but sometimes you just want something quick to either look through your photos or to do something like cropping or resizing them. At my photo symposium one of the instructors turned my on to a great product, and its free!
If you are a Windows user, go download the FastStone Image Viewer. It's small, lightning fast, and even handles photos shot in RAW format (in addition to the normal JPG files).
Might be one of the better $0 purchases you make.
