I did pretty much like I expected. Ran too fast to try and qualify. Great for 20 miles but then blew up. Then blew up worse at 24 with. cramp.
My time was 3:41:50 or so.

This blog is mostly just a record of the photographs I have been taking. It gives a bit of a view of what I have been up to lately, as I have learned to take my camera most everywhere. If you click on any picture that looks interesting, you can see it in a lot more detail. Steve Joyce

Sorry you didn't qualify for Boston. But I'm glad you went for it. Good luck next time.
Hi Steve. I heard all about your marathon at the Polleck Christmas party. It was great seeing Julie. Congrats on your marathon. I know how it feels to get so close to qualifying for Boston. In my last Chicago marathon, I got my time down to 3:39, but I needed 3:30. I hope you can keep running...I'm sure you'll get to Boston. I had to give up running because of arthritis in my knees. I've switched to biking. I've just started to train for a 400 mile bike challenge in Africa in July 2010.
