This blog is mostly just a record of the photographs I have been taking. It gives a bit of a view of what I have been up to lately, as I have learned to take my camera most everywhere. If you click on any picture that looks interesting, you can see it in a lot more detail. Steve Joyce

Wonderful! My favorites are the first, sixth, and seventh in the series. If they were mine (don't I WISH I could take them like that), I would definitely frame and bask in number 6! Such an in-your-face beautiful time of year so authoritatively captured! Is #6 an HDR?
Nope. No HDR in this series. It was simply a stunning view. The trick was to sit there long enough. The sun was moving through the clouds and the lighting between the trees, the mountain and the clouds was constantly changing. Sometimes it looked flat and boring. Suddenly it would take your breath away.
